Pro tip for Netflix users: there is a "movie" called Fireplace and Melodies for the Holidays. It runs 2 hours with Christmas music (instrumental, mostly piano). The crackling fire can also be heard in the sound track.
For those of us without a fireplace, it's nice to have on during Christmas festivities.
Not only do I not have a fireplace, its going to be 86 degrees on Christmas.
I watched that a couple years ago. Crackle crackle.
It will probably be about that temperature here today on Guam but only because it is cloudy with rain.
The weather here ranges from warm with rain to hot without rain. The coolest weather comes when typhoons strike. Then the temperature can fall to a frigid mid 70’s
We spend Christmas at Ypao beach
Is that with the wind chill factored in?
“Is that with the wind chill factored in? “
No but if you plug that in you need a sweater
It’s going to be really cold if you tip over. Don’t invite too many people, ya hear?
Had the fireplace on last Sunday and downloaded the latest Retro Cocktail Hour podcast Christmas edition...

Back in the 60s/70s, WPIX (Ch. 11 in NYC) used to have the “Yule Log” every Christmas Eve. Burning fireplace coupled with carols. Don’t know when it ended but, obviously, NFLX picking it up (probably in HD).
I think QVC or one of the other TV shopping channels runs a similar service during Christmas....
Yeah, Yule Log has been on YouTube for many years, but this is nice to have in HD on the big screen. And the music isn’t obnoxious — more like what you might hear at church.
