The only thing that gets the Republican politicians to act like they accept Trump is that they're hoping the same people that voted for Trump will vote for them.
To too large an extent, the Republican politicians and the Democrat politicians are just different flavors of the same globalist swill. Trump is the only one that the elites are afraid that they can't control.
The Democrats seem to think the United States of America is a banana republic—like say, Panama (birth place of Juan Guillermos). Down in the banana republics, the winner of an election is demonized by the opposition then delegitimized. There is often a coup followed by the destruction of the winner if he survives the coup followed by show trials and executions of the winner and his inner circle.
The Democrats want the leftist dictatorship of Barak Hussein Obama to continue and to morph into a Cuba-like nation with great health care and everyone (but the ruling class) in abject poverty.
