Taking off his helmet to celebrate in the end zone is an automatic penalty. I

Before all these stupid ‘rules’ (I know some are good etc but I played before the face mask and when it came in it was a bar across the nose)
ANYWAY
The line was that the ‘rookie & green players’ would pull off their helmet when the fight started..
The wisened, experienced types took the helmet UP another notch...
