I like the symbolism. Lincoln inherited a divided America and brought it together again while eliminating slavery. Obama re-divided the nation and set back race relations about 100 years. Now Trump is inheriting a divided America and he is tasked with bringing it back together again along with improving race relations. I just hope we skip the Civil War this time and move directly to Reconstruction.
