Green splatter icon = bad
Red un-thrown tomato icon = good
The same group believes Shillary won the presidency.
Reminds me of Carter's "incomplete success" when alibiing the Iran hostage rescue mission fiasco.
Ha!
I hope they lose money on this turd movie.
I can hardly wait for the upcoming Transgender Bathroom thriller.
We didnt offer the script to the Brady Campaign, we didnt offer the script to any Second Amendment groups, director John Madden said when I asked if he had consulted with the NRA or other gun rights groups when making the film.
From the article:
The poor opening did not stop the Brady Campaign from championing the film in a live-streaming event on its Facebook page. T...
The group, which consulted on the production of the film, said they were open to participating in more projects with the makers of Miss Sloane as the movie continues in theaters.
Brendan Kelly, press secretary for the Brady Campaign, said the groups work on Miss Sloane represents a new frontier in its work to influence Hollywood on gun issues.
From the commercials, Jessica Chastain seems like a snotty, stuck up little twit.
And I am being very damn generous with my choice of vowels in the last word of my first sentence.
She seems odd.
This was yet another movie that EVERYONE outside of the Liberal Bubble KNEW was going to BOMB.
EVERYONE!
That won’t stop it from being nominated for Oscars, however.
I can’t recall ever having seen her before prior to this movie.
I just looked her up on wiki, and she was in Interstellar and The Martian. Two films I have never seen and never will see.
She is also a stark, raving Democrat too apparently.
A shame, because she is a pretty girl.
I haven’t seen either movie. She seems to have a very hard life, I’m sorry to say.
I think she was the CIA gal in “Zero Dark Thirty.”
Early life and background
Jessica Michelle Chastain was born on March 24, 1977, in a small town near Sonoma, California. She is the daughter of Jerri Renee Hastey (née Chastain), a vegan chef. Her biological father was Michael Monasterio (19572013), a rock musician. Her parents were both teenagers when she was born. Chastain is reluctant to publicly discuss this aspect of her childhood; she was estranged from Monasterio and has said that no father is listed on her birth certificate. She has two sisters and two brothers. Her sister Juliet committed suicide in 2003 following years of drug abuse. She was raised in Sacramento, California, by her mother and stepfather, Michael Hastey, a fireman. She considers her stepfather to be “one of the greatest people” she knows, and has said that he was the first person to make her feel secure. She shares a close bond with her maternal grandmother, Marilyn, whom she credits as someone who “always believed in me”.
As a student at the El Camino Fundamental High School in Sacramento, Chastain struggled academically. She was a loner and considered herself a misfit in school, eventually finding an outlet in the performing arts...

Very sad.
Another movie I didn’t see.
I’m super happy that she had her fireman stepfather.
A girl needs her dad.
Yes. It’s one of the most important relationships for girls. Possibly more influential than her relationship with her mother.
Still, the abandonment by her father must have been devastating.
Wonder what Brady group would have thought if it was their money that funded this Christmas turkey??????
Hollywood is essentially schizophrenic on guns. They hate them, but have to depict them in order to sell their product.
There have been several anti-gun movies over the years from 1968 to now that you would never suspect of being anti-gun from the trailers. Only after you are inside do you get hit with the gun grabber message.
They consider it a success if it spurs discussion about gun control. These are probably not the investors.
