Yeah, right.
The poor opening did not stop the Brady Campaign from championing the film in a live-streaming event on its Facebook page. T...
The group, which consulted on the production of the film, said they were open to participating in more projects with the makers of Miss Sloane as the movie continues in theaters.
Brendan Kelly, press secretary for the Brady Campaign, said the groups work on Miss Sloane represents a new frontier in its work to influence Hollywood on gun issues.
Miss Sloane marks another chapter in Bradys partnership with Hollywood to integrate the realities of gun violence into entertainment, Kelly said. Weve consulted on scripts for powerhouse television shows including The Good Wife and Greys Anatomy.
He said the group considered Miss Sloane a success regardless of how it performs at the box office.

It has to suck to be a liberal in this climate....
Just another bunch of tone deaf liberals happy to feel righteous about losing money in the name of the cause.
Wondered why they were putting ads on TV at least once a hour for it but with no details .... just pimping the female actress.
They’re admitting to a $13 million budget.
Enjoy that write off.
Yes, anti 2nd Amendment films are all the rage with the American public these days.
Maybe the studio could let it be known that theaters in which it is playing are safe spaces, and hand out Hillary buttons and tee shirts to attendees.
Hollywood: Home of the Epic (Fail)
I almost went to see this this weekend. Thank God I didn’t. I read reviews on fandango and there were a few ‘glowing’ and then one or two that looked like they were directly from freepers so I hung it up! LOL
And...I have no clue how to “read” rotten tomatoes site. You would think getting a rotten tomato is a bad thing but it looks like the more you get the better the movie?? who the hell can tell.....
And marketing costs probably double that, I saw several TV ads for it. And I don’t watch that much TV.
No kidding. I wonder who financed this piece of dreck?
Watching the trailers you would never guess this is a gun grabber movie...
My guess is that at least a third of the audience that DID see it had no idea it was a gun-control pic, as this was not well-advertised until this past weekend. That’s when you KNOW it’s a liberal message pic — when they won’t tell you what it’s about, but it has “glowing reviews”.
Lemme guess...
A “Norma Ray”-style movie about gun control, right?
Gun control film? Was it filmed in Chicago?
