Pope: Christmas reminds us that Jesus was a migrant

Yes, you remember when Jesus killed 130 people in Paris, and when he threatened to conquer the Vatican and behead the Pope himself, don’t you? Is the Pope actually saying that to be concerned about jihad terrorists and Sharia supremacists flooding into Europe with the migrant influx is tantamount to rejecting Jesus?

Is he saying that opposing this influx out of concern for one’s family and society makes one un-Christian? No wonder the Church is offering no help against the Muslim migrant influx, but only making sure the gates are flung open as wide as possible. For the Pope, apparently, the only acceptable definition of Christian charity is society and civilizational suicide.

Remember, this Pope has said that “we can speak today of an Arab invasion” of Europe — and it is one he is actively abetting. But the problem with the newcomers is not that they are Arabs, but that they are adherents of a violent and supremacist ideology that has a will to conquer and subjugate non-Muslim Europeans.

If they succeed, it will be in large part because of the ignorance, complacency, and willing help of Pope Francis and his minions.

“Leave them; they are blind guides. And if a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.” (Matthew 15:14).

Not to mention, Jesus coming back to Judaea from Egypt was also a fulfillment of prophecy, specifically Hosea 1:11, referenced in Matthew 2:15.

That’s like saying if I go to my Mom’s house for Christmas that I’m a refugee. He was going to the seat of his tribe.

Egypt was part of Rome. So he still wasn’t a migrant.

Yes, I think you did miss it:

Matthew 2:13-15King James Version (KJV)

13 And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him. 14 When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt: 15 And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.

Apparently, the Egyptians didn't maltreat them, and they didn't abuse the Egyptians' hospitality. And they returned to Israel when safe to do so.

Modern day "migrants" and "refugees" could learn a thing or two from them.

Technically to call Jesus a “migrant” is probably not correct. He could accurately be called peripatetic. (Look it up.)

Perhaps he is referencing when Joseph and family fled to Egypt to get away from Herod?

How do you say “idiot” in Latin? Even if Jesus was a migrant, once he got to whatever country he travelled to, he didn’t immediately get on that country’s welfare system and He certainly didn’t go around raping women and hacking people to death.

“Has Francis even read the book?”

You mean the one where the Three Wise Guys, Achmed, Abdul and Mohamed drop off a Kalashnikov, a bomb vest and an EBT card?

Temporary Visa to Egypt, but didn’t over stay and repatriated without legal action.

Not exactly a migrant.

This man is setting back not just Catholicism but Christianity itself.

The man has no affiliation with the Christian church. None!

I like how this Pope tells half-truths. He takes a story from the Bible, tells part of it, so that he can further his narrative. Satan did that to when he was tempting Jesus.

A migrant to where? Joseph was returning home when Jesus was born.

Um ... no.

Christ’s earthly family was historically FROM there. Nazareth to Bethleham is closer than some Americans drive to go out to eat at a fancy place. Egypt and Judah were both under Roman rule.

So unless you think going from New York to New Jersy, or going out to eat in parts of west Texas, or going to your family’s home town amounts to refugee or migrant status....

He misses the irony...Joseph was going to be counted as a resident of the(not even a full citizen of Rome) Roman empire and to be assessed a tax for such a “privilege”. Illegals come to this nation insisting that we be taxed to pay them benefits!

Of course. This story has revealed a need for better scriptural familiarity among members of this forum.

not a migrant, and He certainly did not adhere to a religion that thought it was ok to murder, in cold blood, as many infidels as possible (While God did order the nation of Israel to wipe out certain people- it was in divine judgment against those wicked nations- islam teaches to wage indiscriminate jihad against God’s people and sinners alike-)- nor did he believe it was ok to lie to carry out jihad against westerners-

What is wrong with this pope?

Jesus was also the Original Christian who was hunted by a hostile government seeking to kill him from his birth until, in His later life, was finally killed by those whose authority he questioned and challenged.
