Season 7 Episode 8 "Hearts Still Beating":
"Negan's unwelcome visits to Alexandria continue as other members scavenge for supplies; things quickly spin out of control."
Repeal The 17th put this list together (as of the end of last week's episode):
Tara has left Oceanside and is presumably on her way back to Alexandria.
Heath is still unaccounted for.
Carol and Morgan are still at the Kingdom.
Maggie and Sasha are at Hilltop.
Darryl and Jesus are at the Sanctuary.
Michonne is on her way to the Sanctuary.
Negan and Carl are at Alexandria.
Rick and Aaron, Eugene and Rosita, and Spencer are arriving at Alexandria.
Walking Dead ping!
Please let me know if youd like on or off The Walking Dead ping list.
Thanks for the ping, and for the update!
I’m stuck in a hotel without AMC! Oh noooooooo!
Carl’s little ‘girlfriend’ (what’s-her-name) is also at Hilltop.
Spencer overplayed his hand waaaay too quickly. He also forgot he’s not talking to a human being.
The last half hour was pretty good.
Who’s the guy at the end spying on Alexandria? Richard?
Who’s the guy at the end spying on Alexandria? Richard?
Good Lord. So the whole point of that episode (and every other episode before it) was for it to dawn on Rick that this just won’t work out?
Color me unimpressed. At least Jeffery Dean Morgan’s a hoot.
Among the stuff Negan will be dealing with that will
interest me is how Darryl escaped.
Love the show, but it did have a teaching point early on this season, whatever you do, never register your weapons :-) Merry Christmas all.
The Walker Pond was so gross! Add a leaky canoe and I don’t think I took a breath. The Rick/Darryl hug at the end... brought tears to my eyes. TBH... I am not sure what the one guy was trying to accomplish with Neegan? Was he trying to get Rick killed and become the “leader”? Neegan (true to form) doesn’t appreciate being a coward... and I had a feeling what was going to happen when he said, “Why don’t you kill him yourself?” Great episode!
I’m not sure what to make of that note they found on the boat. “... you’re still a loser”
I was thinking that the food was poisoned. Was there food found on the boat? If there was, now Negan has it. That might cut down his numbers a bit.
And thanks someone for the comment about the note written in Latin. How did they know that Spencer could read Latin? It has to be the person watching Alexandria at the end. Apparently that person has been watching very closely for some time now.
Creepy!
Walking Dead ratings are lower than ever: Is Negan to blame?
Although the shows seventh season came in like lion with the premiere garnering more than 17 million viewers, its going out like a lamb. Sunday’s mid-season finale reeled in just 10.6 million viewers.
Viewership for the show has waned throughout the season. The question is why? And the answer could be Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
Morgan plays the villain Negan, a character viewers love to hate — or at least they are supposed to love to hate him. In the first episode, his violent explosion with a barbed wire-wrapped baseball bat left two fan-favorite characters bloodied to a pulp. It was a shocking move on the show’s part that earned lots of eyeballs, but the attention didn’t last.
