On our news in Salt Lake City Area, they have been talking a lot about the Wasatch Fault Line, and it’s connected to the California Fault Line...that’s why I was wondering...

Well, there’s like a foot of snow now on Mauna Kea, and you can probably see Russia from the peak ;-) I have a friend who lives on remote and largely uninhabited Molokai which is very different than tourist Hawaii. Paradise without people.

One of the reasons I live in Kentucky, on a knob, 80 feet above the valley.
That map has already downgraded to 7.8.
By my calculation with 8.0 epicenter at a 3330 mile radius from the Soloman Islands, the wave will be 8.5386 inches high ( + or - 1 inch) at Maui north shore. Fear not!!
