Placido Domingo, Laz. My washing machine is about to blow its pump again, and it’s out of warranty now. I guess I’ll be getting a new washer.
If you had not spurned my generous offers of marriage, I would have gotten you a new machine as part of the dowrey. :) :)
I been repairing every washer I’ve ever had for decades. They aren’t that hard to fix. The biggest problem you can have is when the tub stem is rusted and leaking. All the rest is not bad to fix at all.
Last time my daughter called about her washer, she’d overloaded it until a sock bypassed the tub screens and went over the outer shell and got sucked into the pump. It took about 30 minutes to replace the pump. Just needed room to tip the washer over and change the pump. There are videos all over how to do that.
Pumps are easy to change and most likely available on Amazon.
Waiting on my new dryer motor, should be here tomorrow, at least that’s what amazon says.
Been waiting almost a week now, dirty clothes are starting to plie up.
We need a new dryer. We’ve had this one for 12-14 years, but now it will only dry on an extremely hot temp. So hot that I can’t touch the clothes. Maybe next year.
