This approach is an existential financial threat to the livelihoods of corporate media executives and associated operatives.
No-one, no-one, not a single other candidate, could ever assemble the constructs for such a paradigm shift in governmental communication. This stuff is off-the-charts breaking new territory.

It’s about the people. This is what Trump has been about from the beginning. He didn’t have to run for President he had already accomplished great things.

So the most important thing is that the video is there for everyone to see on Youtube. If you get it through a news service they only show you parts. Its only 2 minutes and 38 seconds long. But the news can’t spend that much time on the President. So in CNNs case, they cut about half of it. He lists several things but they only show 3 of them. Everyone can see that the networks value add is actually value taken away. Trump is plain and concise. But CNN has to cut it in half and bring in a talking head to explain it. This situation is a perfect example of how useless the White House Press Corps is.

Except this is better, because on a computer we can time-shift and watch it when we want, not when it is broadcast.
Thanks to modern tech, when the MSM tries to spin this we will have a thousand youtube videos showing what was really said and how the MSM distorted it. Look for this to become a standard way of interacting with the public and the press.

Two days ago, at his golf course in NJ, Trump pampers the press with hot chocolate and sandwiches. He has them smiling as they go up the elevator to the off-the-record meeting. Then he exposes all their lying journalist -less ways.
Can you imagine Trump,…. “I advise you all to seek another line of work because there’s no place for lying journalists in a free republic. We’re done here. Don’t let the elevator door hit you on the way out.” Gotta love this guys gutts and glory attitude. Sharp contrast to the Obongo Administration.
It is a game changer. Most Americans have the internet and can get Trump’s message without the media filter.

Those that watch it on MSM are ensured some basic level of honesty as MSM will eventually be compared to the social media original.

Donald Trump warned us that we would ask him to stop winning so much. Many didn’t believe him, they thought he was joking! There is so much winning -so fast, it’s hard to digest.
Yes there’s a new paradigm in media relations within days of Trump’s election! By insisting that the meeting was ‘off the record’ he trapped the lying fools from publicly disclosing the meeting details. Hours later, Trump demonstrates that he doesn’t need them and bypasses them making a statement directly to the public.
Game, set, match. Not only do the media honchos get ripped face to face, they are shown to be insignificant fools.
Yes the real record of what IS news is preserved.
Trump is savvy about the entire media operation on every level and can settle a few scores. This was a warning shot. Future slander and rabid partisanship will be identified and called out. The party’s over.
Once in power, Trump will be able to pressure and ensnare that media industry from every angle. They will stop lying 24-7.
