The New York Times gender editor, Susan Chira, castigated white women this past weekend for betraying all women. Noting that 53 percent of white women voted for Trump, Chira laments the fact that women did not link arms, and quotes Salamishah Tillet saying the following: [A] sense of betrayal is sincere and comes from a place in which there was an optimism about solidarity from white-collar women. Its not like black people or Latino people arent sexist and patriarchal. But when we thought about our self and collective best interest, we voted for Clinton.
Hold on just a moment. Did Chira just imply that these women betrayed the Democratic Party and its nominee, and by extension, all women?
I believe one of the reasons some women voted for Trumpdespite the fact that, according to Chira, 89 percent of those who did so were upset by his treatment of womenis very simple. The Democratic Party betrayed women by attempting to supplant sex with gender. Chira entitled her article, The Myth of Female Solidarity, but the real myth is that the Democratic Party stood in solidarity with women. It didnt. Democrats Chose the Trans Agenda Over Womens Rights
Of course, on many issues it did, such as equal pay for equal work and paid maternity leave. But in May 2016, right in the thick of the campaign season, Democrats betrayed women in favor of transsexuals. A joint Justice and Education department directive threatened to pull federal aid from school districts that would not allow transsexual access to bathrooms and locker rooms of their chosen gender. Twenty-three states immediately filed a lawsuit challenging that directive.

Sure we did.
It's the others who refused to join us.
It's THEIR fault.
tl;dr — Headline says it all.
+1.
Gender editor? What the hell is that?
She puts together gender jigsaw puzzles? 100 pieces?
To: Women
From: NYT
Subject: Are You Stupid or Something?
I have noticed that you failed to take my advice on how to vote. I am the NYT. Can you read? What, tell me, were you thinking? Were you thinking at all?
Give me a call when you sober up.
And how Hillary supporters were kicking puppies and drowning kitties which cause a massive turn around towards Trump. Hillary was a total disaster.
Yea, a lot of new and old liberal concepts are reinforced in this article.
Read the first paragraph. Listen to the voice. Spot the assumptions in both the quote from Chira and Salamishah Tillet.
You get the distinct impression that it’s all about themselves.
How dare women vote with their brains and not their lady parts!
Well that and the lefts live of sharia law
Rush made the illustration: That it is assumed woman vote as a block for their interest but that is not sexist but White males voting as a block for their self interest is racist. He also illustrated it with other voting blocks too.
What does that even mean?
Married Women.
Esp. Married Women with Children.
Of all races.
I don’t see any statistical breakdowns for that but I bet that is where the real support from Women for Trump came from.
Job Duties and Tasks for: “Editor” 1) confuse, revise and misrepresent GENDER to defy human nature and God’s will, or supervise others who do this work. 2) Gratuitously insert GENDER into every subject, or eradicate normality to ensure logic is never applied in any sense to GENDER.
Once the left got identity groups in its clutches - women and blacks - it moved on to other identity groups and left women and blacks in the dust. Weirdly, it moved on to the 12 transgenders in the country (probably supported by the wealthy HRC) while looking around for the next identity group - probably men who wish to marry their pet monkeys. They got a wake up call on Tuesday but it appears, like insane people and dumb people, they are doubling down. Good luck to them.
And I will continue to take care of my needs (as Sister said in 1965) at home.
Essentially this article presents the choice to white woman of either siding with their white identity or their female identity. It's a false choice, but lets play along.
On the one hand the White Female (WF) is supposed to value her femaleness, the result of a early random selection in the embryo, over her whiteness, which was created by 100 generations of the breeding choices of all her ancestors.
In rejecting her whiteness and siding with alien others she is essentially rejecting her entire personal family history. It is much less serious to reject "woman's solidarity", you can still have your place in your family among your own kind.
Rejecting your race and men in favor of woman's power solidarity logically will result in a string of lesbian relationships with woman of color. I realize this is all the rage in New York and San Francisco, but for most normal white women the opportunity to have kids with a man, and specifically kids who look like her, is probably much more compelling.
To use some of their own arguments against them: according to liberals gender is a social construct, but race is immutable. (IE: Bruce Jenner can decide to be a woman, no one can decide to be black, even if they run the local NAACP chapter). So isn't your immutable characteristic more important than the socialally constructed fluid one?
I think even if you accept the false premise that White Women have to make an exclusive either/or choice between being white and being a woman, the intelligent choice is to stick with your race.
Which most white woman did, proving they are as smart as we know they are. Ignoring endless media provocations to reject their boys, husbands and fathers in favor of the new multiculti matriarchy.
Well done white ladies!
Bushwah from Susan Chira - whoever SHE is.
“What does that even mean? “
Was hoping one of you could tell me
Note to the media and liberals:
Women are INDIVIDUALS not automatons
We do not look alike, think alike, act alike.
Every time you imply that women should have done this or should have done that, you are denying their autonomy. You are objectifying women.
