I went dark last night so here goes...
Hollywood party for the conservatives, rightwingers in the biz last night. Secret location. Not even catering was allowed as we know the waiters are out of work actors who might take pics. Catering done IN HOUSE..
I thought I knew every conservative in the industry but there were a few surprises. One actor who claimed out loud he will move elsewhere was actually a conservative. I asked the guy why did you say that crap in the first place? He says "my agent is negotiating with the studio for a TV deal and the greenlight comes from these ugly leftard so this should get me that deal. hey. whatever works, right?"
Classic headfake. You guys know who it is but I swore to secrecy. No selfies either, no facebook/twitter/instagram posts. Very darn important people up the studio ladder who cant risk it..BUT very drunk, happy people who after 8 years of crap got to party well until 3 in the morning..

Interesting, thx! I have a relative in your business who flipped from conservative to leftist overnight once he got work. I guess for many it’s a matter of survival.
Bryan Cranston was saying nice things about Trump earlier. Hmmmmm. But, no, I think he really is a lefty.

Very well known actor friend told me “the majority of people in the industry are conservative, but they are behind the cameras, set builders, lighting guys. It’s only the ‘stars’ who are the real libs—and writers and producers— but they have the money.”

There are times when I do wonder how large a percentage of Hollywood is like that Producer/Director character in the Godfather. You know, the one with the underage letch who ended up with the horse (head) in bed!

Correct. There’s a saying “if you want the glory, be an actor. You want the money, be a producer.” I still get girls as the latter :)

I suspect Cranston. He’s just too “everyman”. Can’t believe Robert Downey Jr was a Clinton backer either.
