Just voted somewhere in the NE. Paper ballots and a scanner. About 60 people in line and it moved quickly. Took 10 minutes.

It was funny, the ladies working the desk were asking people to go online to get their election district. The idiot behind me was typing "pole" instead of "poll" on his phone to get the ED. IDIOTS!

God Help Us All!!

Go TRUMP!!!

Does he have any credibility? I say that only because I’ve never heard of him, but I’m hardly an expert on polling.

Yes a no-nonsense guy. Has a great radio show. The BS polls have even bigger BS internals.

Preparing to go to the polls within the next 5 minutes (opens at 7:00 AM, and live less than 10 minutes from polling place.) Will give after action report upon return.

Arrived at my polling place 1/2 hour before the 6:00 official opening. I was about 25th in line; not bad compared to 2008, when the line had already snaked a block away (similar in ‘12 but less).

I greeted the Trump volunteers before getting in line and sipped my coffee. The official opened the outside doors to the building about 5:35 to let us in (the polling place was through an inner door). She positioned us down a hallway, which was good, so I could keep an eye on the “voting guides” the people were carrying as they walked in and got behind me: The DemocRAT guides were blue, the Republican guides were salmon. I did a tally: All told, I counted about 100 voters before the polls opened at 6:00. Of those (of those carrying voting guides)...

* 100% of the African American voters carried DemocRAT guides;
* 100% of the Latino voters carried DemocRAT guides;
* All but one of the white voters carried DemocRAT guides

Considering I am behind enemy lines here in deep blue Fairfax County Virginia, I’m not surprised.

After voting, I again went to the Trump volunteers and thanked them, wishing them luck for today. On to work...

At 6:05 this morning our polling place was VERY busy.

I did not have to wait in line (we never do in our little town) but there was a constant stream of people in and out.

Very well organized and supervised.

We do paper ballots here and not touch screens, so they can be counted by hand if necessary.

I got to the polls at around 6:15 (NJ). About ten people ahead of me. My wife had gone ten minutes earlier and she said no waiting. So it could be busy today.

Polls open 19 minutes. Davis Island in Tampa. Five people on line. At a marina are the polls. All pre work. Old lady poll worker: why are you here so early? Me: got to get to work. FL has laid back 0700 poll start times. No one speaks.

Voted this morning in Stafford Co., VA. Solidly Republican county. Long lines at the polling place when the polls opened at 6:00 AM. Commuter rush. Took 25-30 minutes to vote. Drove by neighboring polling place which is more Dem leaning. No line there.

You know, after all that’s been exposed re: HRC, if the electorate is this willfully ignorant/stupid, they deserve their tyranny.

If she wins, I hope every true patriot withdraws from the system for all but the barest essentials, thus triggering its fall.

Thanks for the reminder, metmom. Ours was also very well organized. And we had ditched the electronic voting a few years ago, opting for paper ballots as well. From the time the poll opened at 6:00, I was out in 15 minutes (I was 25th in line, as I had mentioned).

Usually 10 to 20 in line @ 6:30 when the polls open - 150+ this morning. I’ll go back later.

Hopefully the Trump voters didn’t need the guides - or they were afraid to be seen carrying one in Fairfax. In Stafford Co. this AM, no one seemed to be taking the Dem voter guides.

I did ask the poll worker lady- Why is no ID necessary? Blah blah blah... “We require a signature, that’s sufficient”... Blah blah blah...

I hear you, it was disconcerting to see all those blue voting guides. As I said, the area I’m in is probably the bluest of the blue regions of Northern Virginia. After every election over the last several, I’ve pulled up the numbers online and see that Republican votes a tiny minority.

That wasn’t the way it was when I first moved here 30 years ago of course.

I early voted in Northern Pinellas County (FL) on Sunday, around 11:30 am. There were maybe 100 people ahead of me. Saw 4 people I knew, all Trump voters. Saw only two millennials, both in MAGA hats. 95 percent white, and 2-1 male over female.

To be honest, I always snag the dem cheat sheet. I already know how I’m voting, and it leaves one less for them to hand out to someone who might need it.
