Investigating Donald Trump, F.B.I. Sees No Clear Link to Russia

“the new McCarthyism.”

[ . . . ] "Democrats have also accused another Republican strategist and Trump confidant, Roger Stone, of being a conduit between the Russian hackers and WikiLeaks, which has published the emails of the Democratic National Committee and Mr. Podesta, the Clinton campaign manager. Mr. Stone boasted of having contacts with the WikiLeaks founder, Julian Assange, and appeared to predict the hacking of Mr. Podesta’s account, though he later denied having any prior knowledge.

Mr. Stone derided the accusations and those raised by Michael J. Morell, a former C.I.A. director and a Clinton supporter, who has called Mr. Trump “an unwitting agent of the Russian Federation.” In an article on the conservative news site Breitbart, Mr. Stone denied having links to Russians and called the accusations 'the new McCarthyism.'" Why was the FBI investigating this at all? Seems like a waste of resources to me.

Hillary claims about Trump would jail her, using his power as a revenge against a political opponent. But Obama or Hillary were behind this investigation into Trumps ties with Russia when there was absolutely no circumstantial evidence that there were any ties at all. Trump has done zero business with Russia if what I’ve read is correct.

The fact that The New York Times is talking at all about this made-up deflection nonsense instead of the Clinton FBI story is a win for them.

Investigating Donald Trump

They're not even doing so. The New York Times is outright lying; Hillary Clinton is the only one under real FBI investigation.

Mike Morrell, a Benghazi video fibber, is connected to David Rhodes of CBS.

While I am generally suspicious of The NY Times, the article DOES state that the apparent intent of the Russians is not to elect Trump, but instead is to undermine the U.S. in a more general way. That would certainly make sense...

In fact, the best case scenario for the Russkies would probably be the election of a Hillary severely damaged by scandal, yet holding onto power at any cost of turmoil within the US.

McCarthy has been proven to have been right. Just a pet peeve of mine to see McCarthy maligned, especially by the right.

John Bolton was on Varney the other day and when asked who Putin would prefer as US president, Bolton answered: Clinton, without question. She is weak and indecisive, just like Obama.

You so realize that news sources dont consist of one news story at a time.

They dont “talk” about X and somehow Y ceases to exist.

It’s like saying that because there was a weather report, that means the bank robbery is being ignored.

Michael J Morrell is another handjob and a half political CIA desk jockey who never did an op.... followed by meathead Brennan who also never did an op and come from the desk jockey 7th floor ass sniffing balllicking left wing political crew....
Neither knew or cared how to run or were capable of running an intel agency but were great at altering intel to meet the political need....

Useless political players who are an insult to the rest of the agency... and associated folks who risk their lives to protect America..
