“Crush on You” is still a favorite of mine.
That’s a very sweet song. I recall it being performed by El Debarge and his family. I never heard of the Jets. At first, I thought you were describing something done by Paul McCartney, then I recalled his group was The Wings, not The Jets.
There would have been no place at all for a modern day Miley Cyrus back then. She would have been confined to the strip clubs, giving discounted Lap Dances.

Forgot about that one. Funny how these songs come back to you after decades, when you simply hear the title. They had a quite a string of hits back in the day.

No. Even they had standards. I don’t recall any angry young boys in drag strutting around in their videos or on stage outside of the band itself.
