Parents in the German town of Rendsburg were assessed a 300 fine for refusing permission for their 13-year-old son to participate in a school field trip to a mosque.
Apparently the permission that parents were asked to give was pro forma. It was not really optional. The visit was mandatory. The parents were fined. The boy will go to the mosque. Ve haf vays of making you visit the mosque
Many thanks to Nash Montana for translating this brief item from oe24.at:
Student refuses mosque visit: 300 penalty
Parents are lodging an appeal. But still a 300 penalty is looming, and a forced visit to a mosque
According to the syllabus topic The Orient power factor, water and crude oil, a school class in the German town of Rendsburg was scheduled to visit a mosque. But one 13-year-old student did not want to make the visit, as the online portal mmnews.de reports. The parents sought a dialogue with the school after the announcement of the field trip destination. Since they arent members of any denomination or faith community, they were of the opinion that no one can be forced to step inside a religious facility. Why should we send our child to people who generally despise and condemn unbelievers? the parents asked the school.

Good God we freed the wrong Germany.
The left is being foolish in their treatnent of their fellow totalitarian muslims. The muslims will tax them, enslave them or kill them for being unbeliviers too
Our ally was STALIN...??
If you like Angela Merkel, you’ll love Hillary Clinton.
They should have said he was sick that day.
Or since the county is pushing this, maybe the kid should start having nightmares. Hey, nightmares is being used against Trump so why not anything else under the sun.
Or explain to the powers that be that because of their gestapo tactics, they’ve successfully turned him against all things Islamic.
Germans are Very BIG on confirming and being obeying authority.
It used to be typical in the past decades for town authorities to force residents to pay town church maintenence taxes, and also require children to have Germanic birth names.
The influx of Turks and recent refugees changed many of those practices.
This is so insane.
Meant: Germans are Very BIG on conformity...
Apparently they have altered them without really changing them.
I fear you are right about that. Angela is going to look competent next to Hillary.
Fortunately, Trump will be our next president.
“Fortunately, Trump will be our next president.”
Right. And the #NeverTrumpsters will never know how close they came to annihilation.
When you really need 1880 fps you would probably settle for 980 fps more lead, less range and more personal.
We can tell them, but they won’t believe us.
Our wonderful NATO ally

We won’t even get into trying to Home School your children in The Fatherland...
“You must also pay church tax if you’re affiliated to a religious community (town) that charges it.
Church tax is based on your income tax bill 8% of your income tax in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg, 9% in other parts of Germany.”

Whether a name is acceptable or not is the decision of the registry office in the place of birth of the child. If you want to give your child an unusual German name, you should consult the competent registry office prior to the birth in order to find out whether the name will be accepted without any problems.
The legal regulations regarding first names are often more generous if one or both parents come from abroad. Naming rules prevelant in the respective country of origin can be, but do not necessarily have to be taken into consideration.
I’ve gone and read through a number of in-country reports (from the region) on the topic. First, this fine is still in limbo...the city clerk forwarded it to a the prosecutor and typically it’d be collected. However, the parents also turned in a complaint and there’s likely to be a judge assigned now to review this.
German schools have some ability to mandate socially-related topics...and religion is typically not forced upon students. So, the judge I think....will be asking some stupid questions about who validated this and if this opens up other doors (a Satanist group could demand students should visit their operation, or a Scientology group).
I have doubts that the 300 Euro fine will be enforced. One of the other issues is that in a neighboring state (North Rhineland Westphalia)....there is a spring state election, and this type of action could be picked up by anti-CDU or anti-SPD political folks and shift the election in a different way.
Merkel and Company are, plainly, insane.
You ver sick? Vell, get your selfie taken inside of the mozque and ve vill report you’ve massed up the vork you missed vhile you vere out!
