Defense lawyers rested in the Oregon standoff case Monday after they called a witness who confirmed he was an informant for the FBI who infiltrated the occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in late January and supervised the shooting range for several days.

The man who occupiers initially knew only by his alias "John Killman" was revealed as Fabio Minoggio, a Las Vegas resident who was subpoenaed by the defense to testify after prosecutors declined to confirm whether or not he was a government informant......

Minoggio....wore black-rimmed glasses resting on the bridge of his nose and was dressed in a blue polo shirt and orange cargo pants. He testified that he was at the refuge from Jan. 23 through Jan. 26, and the FBI reimbursed him for his expenses.....

While at the refuge, Minoggio said he was asked to oversee the shooting range...He said he provided training on firearms safety and proficient use of firearms.....

Minoggio, according to testimony Monday, was one of 15 confidential informants who fed the FBI information....

"We are dealing here with a situation of a confidential informant who is participating in the commission of the alleged offense," defense lawyer Marcus Mumford said in court.

Earlier Monday proseuctors had refused to confirm whether or not the man who went by "Mr. Killman" was working for the government.....

Defense lawyer Matthew Schindler, who represents defendant Kenneth Medenbach, argued that the defense team had the right to know who these "mystery people" were who brought all the 22 long guns and 12 handguns to the refuge that prosecutors has FBI agents paraded before jurors. Schindler pointed out that prosecutors and the FBI did not identify where or from whom each firearm or ammunition came from.......

The testimony ended in the Oregon Standoff Trial yesterday featuring the testimony of "John Killman-FBI Informant".

His real name is Fabio Minoggio and he was the supervisor of a firing range at the protest in January where mass quantities of ammunition were used.

Video of that ammo being shot off was used by the prosecution to make its case against the seven defendants.

Defense lawyer Marcus Mumford said this man had been involved in criminal activity alleged at the refuge.

The "Federal Bureau of Insitgation"??????

FBI Agent Ben Jones tried to rebut the testimony of a Harney County rancher-defense witness who said he was intimidated by Jones ahead of his defense testimony.

Jones admitted he came with another agent armed to meet rancher Duane Schrock. Jones admitted he pressed Schrock about how many guns he saw during the protest ahead of Schrock's defense testimony.

Closing arguments in the trial are scheduled for today.

So, the lesson to be learned? Significant numbers of the folks involved were actually gummint employees.

Did you hear about the three guys busted the other day for planning to bomb some immigrant Somalis? First thing to cross my mind was that at least one of the three was gummint infiltrator.

Not that I would ever plot against our gummint but I suspect we’re I to have an “acquaintance” suggest such a thing I do believe the at the first opportunity I would put a round through his head. Think about it. Better than even chance he is a gummint agent. Especially if he is the one agitating.

I remember the rumors that Pete Santilli and that Paine guy were also informants. Whatever happened to them?

Terri Linnell, one of the informants in Oregon, had an FBI contact named “Martha” who was part of a “Domestic Terrorism Team” based in San Diego.

Linnell said: “They track local groups, such as militia, Oathkeepers,III%,Sovereign Citizens, Black Lives Matter, Occupy, KKK as part of their jobs. I was asked to go to OathKeeper meetings.....”

Payne pled guilty, now he wants to withdraw his plea.

The charges against Santilli were dropped right before the trial in Oregon began with First Amendment questions likely driving the decision to drop charges.

Santilli is still facing charges in Nevada for the Bunkerville standoff in 2014.

The name this guy from Switzerland used was actually “John Killman” and he used either a French or South African accent when he spoke.

I can do a pretty good Afrikaaner speaking English accent myself since I listened to a lot of South African radio growing up.

How did it come about that you heard a lot of South African music.

Fascinating. What’s it sound like?

If you were into shortwave radio in the 1970’s South Africa was a big player in shortwave, booming broadcasts overseas called “Radio RSA” and beaming its local stations in English and Afrikaans to remote areas of the country aimed directionally so the beams kept going towards the USA.

This You Tube link traces the history of Springbok Radio from 1950 to its end in 1985.

As the range officer it was his job to police the spent brass. So, they fact that the .gov stooges found all the spent brass was actually the FBI’s fault!

Farcical Bureau of Instigation stooges brought ALL the firearms , ran the range and allowed for the filming that was later used against the defendants while refusing to acknowledge their informants roles ... This calls for charges against the FBI agents in charge.

I’m sure that there have been plenty of Democrat infiltrators working for the government to “expose” the tea party groups as “terrorists” but no one took the bait.

However there have been instances where Democrat anarchists plotted to firebomb and kidnap at the 2008 GOP convention and it never rose above being treated as a “local” story and those convicted claimed they were set up by the government.

Never, ever conspire with 3 or more persons.

One of them is a rat.

If they are not a blood brother or childhood friend, don't even let them know your feelings on such weighty matters, nor your capabilities.

Like I said, I would not personally get involved with anyone proposing to violently damage the gummint but I do wonder why it does not occur to folks who DO want to harm gummint agents that in all probability the closest, most easily accessible target is right there at their own elbow....
