(I posted this in Chat, let me know if incorectly done) It just dawned on me that pregnant women receive no child support, and that the democrat stance on abortion with Planned Parenthood is a language obstructing that. A Compassionate Conservative like Pence should make the case

Do you mean child support from the government or from the child’s father? The government already has many programs available for low income pregnant women. Medicaid pays for prenatal care, WIC for food. The government is really ineffective in getting men to pay for children that DNA proves are theirs, how are they going to get them to pay for children that they may have doubts are even theirs before they are born?
What specifically did you have in mind?
You would need to be able to establish paternity in utero first.
Pregnant women, even poor ones, should get nothing from the government.

We need to eliminate well fare, not increase it. The Democrat platform is for increase of wellfare.
Why can’t she support herself?
If a woman needs the government to support a baby, she should do the right thing and KEEP HER LEGS SHUT. Not a difficult concept. Why should my tax dollars be supporting someone who can’t make decent life choices???

So much misguided thinking in this post that it’s difficult to cover it all. Briefly:
1. The Federal Government has no authority to provide any such services or defray their costs in any way. This msguided thinking is part of the reason the USA is $20 Trillion in debt.
2. For example, the very term “Compassionate Conservative” is a mental trap for the unaware: you can be one, or you can have a free country. Proof: the current $20 Trillion Federal debt is the tip Of the iceberg of debt. Estimates of unfunded liabilities that have their Genesis in such thinking vary depending upon who developed them and upon the exact criteria they used, but it is evdent that it is at least 10 times larger than the $20 Trillion of instant liabilities. A specific example is Social Security. There is no Trust Fund - there is only a gargantuan pile of Treasury Bonds in a set of file cabinets That cannot be redeemed without raising tax rates to nearly 100% on the middle class and confiscating most of the wealth of the rich. The other alternative to meet these future obligations that are effectively unfunded is to debase the currency to the point that a Big Mac meal a week will consume practically all of your monthly SS check.
3. Because these and other relevant facts are so unpleasant, most Americans refuse to believe them. Like wolves in sheep’s clothing, Socialists in Democrat Party “clothing”’and their willing accomplices in the so-called main-stream-media do everything they can to obscure and decry these facts and actual figures and those who try to expose them.
4. The States and smaller government entities should be doing these things TO THE EXTENT THAT THEY CAN AFFORD TO DO SO.

One of the major genius ideas enshrined in The Constituton is that of limited and enumerated powers of the Federal Government and its corollary that everything else is State power, hopefully devolving to the lowest practical level, e.g., with taxation and accountability as local as possible. Unfortunately, most politicians have strayed away from these ideas and principles.
6. My time and space in this response to this misguided thinking oare also limited. So, instead of trying to cover all the bases, let me conclude with one challenge: get physical. To be clear, use only legal means, but do what you can to prepare with less talk and more action. The time for talk is past. The tsunami of debt and deceit cannot be stopped, but you can save yourselves by having the majority of your wealth in physical assets instead of a stash soon to be worthless cash orTreasury Bonds. Of course you will have to keep some cash on hand or other liquid assets to meet certain obligations that will come due before you can sell enough physical assets to meet them. Only you can decide what is a proper balance, but assume that any non-physical asset can vanish overnight and so can your physical assets unless you guard them closely. Finally, I realize that most who read this challenge will feel so overwhelmed that they will not act accordingly, and I simply lack the time and space to overcome decades of propagada accompanying the greatest fraud ever perpetrated on the Amarrican people. Best of luck to those who are not overwhelmed and do act.
I had a friend in high school who got knocked-up by her boyfriend.
Indeed, the system did not assist her with any type of support during that time. She really scuffled until that child was born.
Then the boyfriend moved to another state and worked under-the-table for a relative’s construction company. Via this method he managed to snake out of paying support after the child was born too.
Years later, when she married and her husband wanted to adopt this child, the guy mysteriously turned-up to fight the adoption.
