It’s pretty shocking to read some of the comments on this thread. This forum has changed for the worst over the last 5 years.
What this asshat did is inexcusable. Death Valley may be a desert wasteland to some of you, but it is a National Park. And no, the rain will not wash the tire tracks away in a few days. I saw a documentary on it - whoopee because they know why the rocks move.
The guy may be ignorant but we are really going overboard when we worship a "pristine sand surface" that will be rained upon and windblown back to that state in fairly quick order.
