I just dont like being taken the wrong way. My original post was not a slam or trying to be antagonistic. If you never get involved with Facebook, it can never bite you in the ass.
And it is a liberal move to post stuff open to everyone, and then say we are only accepting certain kinds of comments about it.

I didn’t mean to imply that this post is only open to certain people. That’s not what I meant. I just knew that there would probably be FReepers who would ignore my original note that this is meant for information purposes to the many FReepers who DO use Facebook, and they would instead come on this thread to bitch about Facebook, and I was only suggesting that you just ignore this thread. No biggie, Secret Agent Man.
Okay, I get what you are saying. Per my original comment, I wasnt really viewing it as an opportunity to start ripping fb up and down, just more like saving people from dealing with the headaches it can bring, altogether.

I used to have a Facebook account solely for updates from extended family members. Last month, I pulled the plug. It's obvious that Zuckerberg wants his site to be a liberal echo chamber with blind sheep following him around. Well, count me out.
I know. I'VE been banned several times for telling the truth on Facebook. I expect my account to be deleted at some point.
