No, it could be a software issue ramping all CPUs to 100% simultaneously. Or a sensor issue in terms of reporting charge voltage. Or several other things NOT related to the battery...

At least with Samsung they recalled and replaced the batteries. That’s better than Apple has done when it’s batteries died and fried...
