CR6 is pretty much already banned by Europe it’s one of the 6 heavy metals in the RoHs regulations for electronics. They are looking to add additional and expand the scope to other types of assemblies. It’s a pain in the ass, but if you want to ship to the EU you have to comply.

September 21st, 2016. Chromium 6 hit the local news here in Washington State. It affects every county but the one that is in the middle of the Olympic National park, and there have been found concentrations as high as .012 if memory serves me. Our power is almost exclusively from hydro, so it must be naturally occurring. It is probably why Indians are still living on reservations, and have diabetes and alcoholism...(sarcasm off)
