But I do understand that some may have sensitivity to it.
Diet pop with artificial sweeteners is nasty. I drink the real stuff. Ideally I’d like to see them ditch corn syrup and go back to cane sugar, which tastes better.
I’ve tasted Coke Zero and it sure as hell didn’t taste like a real coke. It’s a marketing plot because studies found men don’t like to buy “diet” soda.
God invented sugar, it’s perfect the way it is.
I like it.
I am shocked by people who do not understand that this is offensive.
The sign is great; the display itself is quite eye-catching & creative. HOWEVER, it should have been built & roped off...without a price tag hanging above it, FGS.
That would have actually been more noticeable; encouraging customers to stop in remembrance. Warm fuzzies for the brand instead of controversy. Major marketing fail!
I haven’t had a Coke since I was 5 years old.
Horrible stuff.
Smart move.
Apparently, if you dislike this display, you are an anti-capitalist muzzie democrat who drinks Pepsi rather than Coke. Go figure, as we say in NYC.
The PR would greatly outweigh a few days’ worth of net profits. Even if they split it to one-half net profits, that would be an awesome compromise.
One thing seems similar to me but it’s not.
It was funny when Rush celebrated Club Gitmo with his soap-on-a-rope, but that was lampooning, not a sad remembering.
And I’m glad the towers aren’t rebuilt yet. Let us NEVER forget every time we see a scene in New York.
