America’s soon-to-be first female Muslim legislator has a problem on her hands.
She’s accused of being married to two men, at the same time, including one who may be her brother. The second marriage was allegedly a sham, meant to deceive the U.S. government’s immigration system, allowing him to emigrate from the United Kingdom, according to local Minneapolis media.
But Ilhan Omar, a 33-year-old Somali refugee who was the victor in Minnesota’s Aug. 9 Democratic primary, denies the story, issuing a statement calling it “categorically false”
But local attorney Scott Johnson, an author of the well-read PowerLine blog, dropped a bombshell a few days after the primary with a story so shocking that the local media was forced to emerge from its euphoric coverage of Minnesota’s “first female Muslim refugee legislator” and acknowledge that this candidate has legitimate questions to answer.
So far she hasn’t answered many of them.

Any state represented in the Senate by a well-known buffoon, Al Franken, would have no problem voting for a Somali woman married to her brother.
When this country was still sane, entering into a sham marriage for the purpose of gaining residency was grounds for immediate deportation.
It means they are not married. But I believe the filing requires you to testify to eligibility.
Here’s what will happen. BI becomes the next fad/victim group/civil rights cause. That means a marriage of three people.

Just looked her up, she will win because the republican candidate (also a Somali) withdrew from the election.
A lot of muslims run on the democrat ticket because they feel it is easy entrance into the US’s political system. Very few if any muslims run under the republican banner. This is all whether or not they agree with either party’s platform. Remember once muslims have a sufficient number then they believe that land is ripe for the taking. The first step was to play down the fears of Islam the second step is to be promoted from within. The final phase is to make the Qurap the constitution of this land. And her campaign is threatening all the Somali community to shut up about it or else. They are afraid for themselves and their families in Somalia.
