Because it has spread into the US. It's only going to get worse, one suspects, with this nasty tropical storm pushing late season warm weather and flooding into eastern US.

Wow, that took some work to pull all those DDT adds together.
About that....I fainted from very bad pneumonia that many people got at the time of swine flu. Until they figured out what it was I was put in a horrific quarantine in a hospital. We were treated like lepers, as most staff members did not want to come into contact with us. It felt a real lot like a test run of quarantine protocols.
I was one of the lucky ones...it got diagnosed and I had lung surgery. They did kill off some people with the horrific care, before and after the quarantine.
Moral....be very concerned if the gov starts in on forced quarantines or new vaccines that aren't fully tested for long-term effects and possible interactions with other drugs.
