I was listening to some opaque melodies a little earlier as well — Bartok’s SQs.

Hey, have you ever heard of the "Aquarium Rescue Unit" with Jimmy Herring?

How about Col. Bruce Hampton who has seen countless musical incarnations (the above band being just one)?

I always enjoyed him. My favorite concert was his Carnival (?) concert, he came on stage as Captain Beefheart. It was a great mind f… .
Few know he also wrote classical and jazz.
