The mysterious sci-fi drama’s poster includes the show’s double “W” logo, a glimpse of a scenic Western vista and a skeletal unfinished robotic “host.”...

Westworld also unveiled a new tagline: “Every Hero Has a Code,” a nod to how the protagonists in this update of Michael Crichton’s 1973 film are the androids more than humans that use them for entertainment.

I loved the original Westworld. Futureworld was ok. The spinoff series was ok for the time.

Creativity is completely lost when you have to delve into the 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s to “reimagine” some kind of plot.

It tells me they (our new generation of imagineers) may have learned about our past times for enjoyment and have applied new cinematographic advances to retell an old story, but they have learned absolutely effing nothing about the lessons and impacts that resulted..

It looks interesting, but it also looks like it is close to being Ex Machina, the TV series.

Maybe someone should re-imagine the story of Briton King Vortigern, who brought in Hengist and Horsa (leaders of Angles & Saxons) as mercenaries, but ended up being conquered.

Except replace Angles & Saxons with Muslims.

It’s been over 4 decades, but I’m still waiting for the invention of those robotic barmaids.

As a sex robot it fails strongly.

Plus, I want soft skin, not no skin. Meh.
