It’s a folly of the age. If we are blessed, the folly will fizzle out once it manages to incur enough absurdity on its own power. But to read about historical follies (even those which didn’t lead to horrific genocides) is to gain a lot of perspective.
We are entering into one now, but this transgender lunacy is only a symptom of a much larger sickness
One can hope it collapses under the weight if it's own absurdity, but I fear the this trend we are seeing will not end as simply a humorous foot note in history
