(That is because I can design an AngularJS SPA app (or, if they prefer, MVC 5 under Razor syntax) with Entity Framework 6 talking to SQL Sprocs using a code-first model and exposing WebAPI 2.0 SOA with authentication done using bearer tokens and OATH2).
