HBO's Last Week Tonight host John Oliver pitches a new idea to Donald Trump: Avoid losing to Hillary Clinton by dropping out of the race for president now.

“You’re either going to win or you’re going to lose, and I think both those scenarios end pretty badly for you,” Oliver told the GOP presidential nominee on his HBO series Sunday. “I would like to propose to you a third option and that is, drop out. Simply drop out and tell America this entire candidacy was a stunt.”
"Just think about how triumphant it would feel to say on national television: 'I openly ran on a platform of impossibly ignorant proposals steeped in racial bigotry, and nobody stopped me. In fact, you embraced me for it! What the **** was that about?’” he said. "That would be one of the most powerful political speeches of all time.”
"You would not be a loser,” Oliver begged Trump. "You would be a legend."
Probably just a stunt to increase his ratings.

Trump has no reason to drop out. But HIlliary looks ready to drop dead. Whatever illness she’s got, I wish her well for a recovery ( if possible) and for the least pain in any event. We need to figure out what happens if she has to step aside. Will the D party machine hold a new convention, or just let their “ super delegate” insiders shove ( another) nominee down the voters’ throats, or what?
