Lol! OK, told ya so! Man, those Infernos are a tough call to pass on for a young man. It had to be one hell of a night to have to lie about it to that degree. Must have been one of "those" moments per below:
This story gets worse before it gets better going forward. Brasil redemption this one time BUMP...

Remember how the media attacked President Bush for Hurricane Katrina?
Now, the media thinks this story is more important than President Obama on vacation while coffins float in Louisiana.
Life ain't fair.

He can run on Democrat ticket for President of USA. Lying is Badge of Honor. Be real, ask FBI to investigate and involve DOJ. No one died.

Frat boy? That sounds prejudicial to me. What does this have to do with frats?

This is a non-story, how many bodies washed up on the beaches of Rio, how many were robbed in Rio today? Give me a break. It’s because he’s white and folks hate America that this is getting so much coverage.
To: Caipirabob
How long has the Road To Rio been going on.........6-8 months? How much longer 2 years?
I am sick of it.......but that’s just me........

Sounds like they were drunk, had to take a piss, and broke the lock to a gas station. The manager came out and they paid for the lock. He told his mom over the phone he was robbed....not sure why, and she blabbed that to the international media. And here we are.

These young men are facing more public humiliation and criticism for their lying about their actions than the Democrat Candidate for the Presidency of the U. S. is facing for her long history of cover-ups, lies and dishonesties.
Something is terribly wrong when the youth of the world are provided such an example!
Instead, those youth who might aspire to the Presidency one day should be cautioned that their fidelity to the Constitution and to truth were prime requisites for that Office.

Oh please, let’s all put on thinking caps here. His friends are being held in a foreign country that won’t let them leave until they “admit” he lied. He’s safe, so they lie as they’re told and get out of that hellhole.
Period.

Actually, as some have pointed out, California law prohibits unlawful self-help, and the behavior of the “security guards” could be charged as robbery and false imprisonment, depending on the account that is accepted by the trier of fact. From this viewpoint, the swimmers really were robbed as they claimed.
