KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- A Kansas City, Kan., family is devastated after two children died when someone opened fire on their home. One of the boys ran into his 12-year-old brother's room and snuggled up next to him, where he died.
"He was going to change the world. They don't know what they took for this earth," said Jayson Ugwuh, Jayden's father.
Jayden Ugwuh, 9, was an artist.
"He can draw. He can draw you right now and it would look just like you, at nine years old," Ugwuh said.
He was also a little rapper, a creative soul who believed in superheroes, had big dreams and wanted to fly.

I'm sorry to hear that.
That really is sad.
When I was a civil servant, I once knocked on the door of an apartment and a 2 or 3 year old answered. He was holding a maybe 8 month old baby.
He told me that his Mother was at someone’s house and of course I had no idea who that was. It was actually a bit touching as the little kid, not much more than a baby himself was really trying to care for the baby.
I went to the manager of the Government apartments and reported it. The manager who was also Black said he would report it but nothing would be done.
what stuns me — it still stuns me, even though it’s so obvious now — is that because this child was not killed by a cop, and preferably a white cop, his community couldn’t care less.
Condolences to Jayson Ugwuh and the remainder of Jaden’s family and friends. All lives matter. R.I.P.
love
Why is the Ballerina not hammered about this? Oh that’s right, he’s a Democrat and he is not responsible.
I have a news flash for black America, start electing republicans, they ended slavery, the slavery carried on by democrats...
You Fools are still on the Plantation and the Masa is that Jug Eared idiot in the White House...
Kansas city.......
Somebody at that house must have been bangin’.
Grew up on a farm in western Wyandotte County and lived in that area until the early 1960’s. Started getting really, really bad so we moved with our kids to Johnson County. Went back to visit about five years ago. Didn’t even recognize the Wyandotte County area. Just so trashy and so sad.
Where are the fathers?
Corner of 5th and Main, corner of..., corner of...
Making more children to be shot up?
Beyond sad.
I don’t know how our politicians whose policies feed the conditions that lead to this sleep at night.
They have no problem falling asleep, believe me.
I know, spent a couple years on the Hill with those soulless creatures.
There is something seriously wrong with these black lives people. They riot and burn down businesses and beat the crap out of people for being white after a violent black felon points a gun at a black cop and basically commits suicide by cop. But when little kids are killed inside their own homes while doing nothing by black criminals they won’t even help the police figure out who did it. Total insanity.
Sad. RIP.
Sorry for the loss of a child but when parents care enough to police their neighborhoods, things will change.
