An official for the District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) told a U.S. Department of Education bullying summit on Friday that 15.3 percent of high school students in DCPS identify as either gay, lesbian, bisexual or “questioning” — i.e. not sure of their sexuality.
DCPS Health and Wellness Director Diana Bruce cited statistics from a 2012 survey which also found that “6.2% of D.C. middle school youth identify as lesbian, gay or bisexual” and “8.9% of D.C. middle school youth identify as questioning or not sure” regarding their sexual identity. …

At my high school, many kids I know would mark that box just to screw with authority.
According to my younger friends they answer these surveys for maximum shock for the staff. Student surveys are nearly useless for that reason. Just some kids tweaking the adult’s tails.
It is fairly uniform in all schools.
What we can deduce from this: Live in Democratically controlled hell hole for over 7 decades and you become filled with sexual fantasies...

When they see the government at all levels promoting the sexually deviant lifestyle, this is no surprise. The homosexual agenda has increased participation in this ruinous population, the mark of a dying country.

Another way to look at this... the actual numbers may have stayed the same of the past several years and what has happened is that the students who identify as straight have left the public schools and gone to charter schools.

A few years ago, a rash of these “queer” behaviors reached
epidemic proportions at a local high school. The kids were
meeting in the restrooms for sessions of “playing ugly” &
sauntered around the halls flaunting it.
In a short while, the “new” wore off and it stopped.
I remember when they had David Toma speak at our high school when I was a sophomore,then the school had us all fill out a questionnaire which basically asked if we tried drugs,used drugs,and how often,etc....
You wouldn’t believe some of the wild answers we made up. Sent darn near all the teachers and parents into a panic! I guess some things never change.
Exactly. Hyper-political DC probably views this wild statistical anomaly as an opportunity to impose more thought control.

A nuclear device detonated in the heart of DC while Congress is in full session would do much to restore the greatness of the US.
I am guessing that in DC, many kids mark that box, because they are encouraged to do so. Probably asked questions like, “... have you ever wished you were a girl/boy...” for the other gender. If you have EVER even thought that, mark the LGBQ box.
The more the government subsidizes a thing the more of it we get.
