At my high school, many kids I know would mark that box just to screw with authority.

I remember when they had David Toma speak at our high school when I was a sophomore,then the school had us all fill out a questionnaire which basically asked if we tried drugs,used drugs,and how often,etc....
You wouldn’t believe some of the wild answers we made up. Sent darn near all the teachers and parents into a panic! I guess some things never change.

I am guessing that in DC, many kids mark that box, because they are encouraged to do so. Probably asked questions like, “... have you ever wished you were a girl/boy...” for the other gender. If you have EVER even thought that, mark the LGBQ box.
