Relax About the Polls
Self | August 16, 2016 | PJ-Comix

Posted on 08/16/2016 8:12:32 AM PDT by PJ-Comix

For those of you worried about the polls, I have one word---RELAX. First of all this is August so the polls can say anything they want plus many people are still not focused on the upcoming election. For that reason I automatically take whatever the polls say and conservatively deduct 3 points from Hillary and give 3 points to Trump.

In addition there is what is called the Shy Voter Effect. Those many voters shy of being ID'd as Trump supporters. I also call this the Reverse Bradley. Again, another 3 from Hillary and 3 to Trump.

Therefore if a poll shows Hillary leading by 10, I deduct 6 from Hillary and reward 6 to Trump with the net result that he leads by 2.

As final confirmation that the polls are complete BS, I give you the current NBC poll that shows that only 17% of all voters think Trump has the temperament to be president. And if you believe that then perhaps you should panic. Not over the what the polls say but over your own extreme gullibility.

Watch what happens. The polls won't getting real until until the final week of the election when their reputations are at stake.

I don't worry about the polls.

Democrat voter fraud is what concerns me most.

At this point, polls aren’t about GAUGING opinion. They are about CREATING opinion. For that reason, we should be concerned.

The following national polls currently have Trump and Clinton within the margin of error-LA Times-Dorsife, UPI, Bloomberg, Reuters, Rasmussen and Gravis. This, despite the fact that most are using a 2008/2012 turnout model, i.e., oversampling blacks and Dems. Some oversample women, too.

IOW, relax is right.

Trumps internal polls are probably much different.

True. But we need to keep it in perspective and not be discouraged. In that respect the poster is right. But you are too as they do this to : a) Discourage Trump supporters, b) try to influence undecided and c) discourage money donors who give to anybody regardless of politics as long as they feel they have a chance of winning so they can call in favors.

We need to attack the credibility of all these damn polls. The most reliable is Rasmussen and right now they have Trump and the Beast of Babylon in a statistical dead heat. Wait for the next Assange dump and enjoy the popcorn. :) :)

Anybody remember those “accurate” exit polls showing Kerry winning in 2004? They later said it was an error but I don’t buy it. I am sure it was designed to demoralize/suppress the vote for his opponent. I also remember Dan Rather calling Florida for Gore BEFORE the panhandle polls closed in the Central Time Zone. Again to suppress the conservative vote.

Also don’t forget the horrible ObamaCare numbers scheduled to be released a week before the election.

When Trump announced his candidacy i made the prediction then that he would, in effect, get someone else elected but not a GOP candidate. My rational was that he’d split the vote whether he got the nomination or note. If he got the nomination people wouldn’t be able to hold their nose and pull the lever. If he didn’t he’d claim he was shafted and run a third party ticket splitting the vote ala Ross Perot.

I wavered in that belief after the convention but have returned to that point of view. Obviously he’s won the nomination... people are going to struggle holding their nose the more he forces them to cover their ears to drown out his gaffs.

For the record I’m holding my nose and voting Trump but want to tweak his nose when he pulls a doozie.

That's why Reuters oversampled Democrats by 15%.

You are exactly right.

I believe the purpose of the polls showing Hillary with a big lead is to be cover for the massive election fraud we will experience.

To be honest, I do not believe there is any way to fight it. Even if Trump gets 80% of the actual vote, the Dems just have to rig voting in a few battleground states to show a narrow win. This will give them the electoral votes needed to win the race. The fake polls provide cover.

I was listening to Lou Dobbs yesterday. He had a guest who had attended a large meeting of attorney. An open poll was taken, initially, asking who they were going to vote for.
The results were Hillary 53, Trump 43.

At the end of the meeting, a second poll was taken. But this time a SECRET poll was taken asking the same question.
The results:
Trump 51, Clinton 41.

"I don't worry about the polls. Democrat voter fraud is what concerns me most."

Likewise, I don't worry about these false polls, but I am a bit nervous about the false results which will likely be coming from many demonic-rat controlled polling places all over America on election day.

Also, Gallup has for years tracked party affiliation, a very good indicator of where the electorate’s head is. In Nov. of ‘08 it was 51 D, 40 R, November of 2012 it was 50 D, 42 R. As of the last poll on July 13-17, it was 43 D, 43 R.

The Dems have lost 7 points since 2012, yet the pollsters are still churning out polls that assume the electorate is half Dem.
