Is there another name for a “dealer agent” for cars? Car brokers are a different entity.

I would like to know that service, for the future. Bing and Google aren’t being cooperative.

Google “car auction agent.” Several come up. You want to tap into mannheims auctions, if possible. They provide an independent inspection for the dealers, many of whom are buying remotely. It has some risk but I think that “risk” is just part of the equation with a used car.

Also lurk around e-bay motors. The very highly rated sellers might be a good resource: they have to be careful, though,as “off ebay” transactions can cause them grief with e-bay.
