CENTER CITY, Pa., A couple traveling on a stretch of Pennsylvania freeway captured video of a woman steering her car with her feet while using both hands to text.
Sarah and Shawn Delong captured video of the woman using her feet to steady the steering wheel while traveling on the Schuylkill Expressway in Center City.
"Someone is going to get killed, that's why I was so mad. You see people on their phones all the time, but that took the cake," Sarah Delong told WPVI-TV. "For a good 20 minutes we were in her vicinity whether it was beside her or behind her."
The Delongs said they tried to get the woman's attention.
"At one point we beeped at her and I yelled 'get off your phone!' And she looked and smirked at me and went right back to doing whatever it was on her phone," Sarah Delong said.
Shawn Delong said he was baffled by the spectacle.
"I've seen people reading and writing with their documents, but not driving with your feet!" Shawn said.
The video emerged just days after a woman driving on a stretch of Colorado interstate was recorded focusing on her phone behind the wheel while resting a leg on the dashboard.
JACKASSES like her richly deserve a DARWIN AWARD; but the
innocent “infidels” they kill in their ruthless paths do
not deserve it.
By the way, just WHAT do Muslim WOMEN get when they off
themselves while killing “infidels”? I haven’t heard of
Mohammed ever addressing that question.
It happens quite often. Drunks don’t see the accident coming, so they don’t tense up. Given that and their already “relaxed” condition they suffer far fewer injuries. Or, as I heard it phrased during police academy: “drunks bounce”.

a southern state has instituted a form of texting while driving detecting, buy cops driving unmarked tractor trailers (or perhaps just the cabs) and driving with cop passengers and viewing down into cars to see if someone is texting while driving.
sounds like a plan.

Heard the same thing during my police training. Also about people being hit so hard by a vehicle that their boots (or shoes depending on which instructor you had) were still standing in the same position they were at the point of impact with the people flying through the air for long distances. Most were dead on impact though.
Maybe it's 72 virgin men that were sentenced to Hell.
The Surekill is about 25 miles long.
It’s funny, some of these things you hear through the years and assume they’re just B.S. cliches. Until you find out later ther’s an element of truth to them.

I’d comment on how stupid this is, but my mind is still stuck on the flexibility angle. I think I should, um, talk to her about how dangerous this is...over a few beers of course.
“people being hit so hard by a vehicle that their boots (or shoes depending on which instructor you had) were still standing in the same position they were at the point of impact”
“Mythbusters” featured something like this on one of their shows. Turns out it can happen — impact is so strong they get knocked out of their shoes.
Our police instructor showed us the police report and the diagram. I think it knocked the victim 150 feet forward of the original impact point. Pretty sure that was death upon contact.
I have lived on the corner of a 3-way stop for ten years now. I’ve given up keeping count of how many idiots roll through the intersection while texting (apparently confusing the stop sign with a yield sign) or blatantly flying through without any hesitation. The cops in town DO NOTHING about it. In fact, they encouraged ME to get license plate numbers of the offenders.
I was in a friends off road truck that was jacked up to allow big honking tires many years back. Yeah it was a ridiculous vehicle. We were going to a News Years eve party somewhere in Denton when we had to stop at a traffic light. Right beside us on the passengers side was a woman in a Thunderbird. I think she’d been to an office party that got out of control because she was wearing a sweater with no skirt, trousers or panties. When she noticed us beside her she looked at me and yelled, “Stop looking at me!” as she tried to pull the sweater a bit farther down
If you watch the video, it says that they did, but because no law enforcement person witnessed it themselves, they can’t do anything to her. They suggested calling 911 right away so that somebody could try to pull her over.
Who needs two hands to text? I think she was playing Pokemon Go.
Whatever happens, it won’t be pretty.
.... Im trying to figure out how someone spends 20 minutes driving on the Schuykill Expressway in Center City Philadelphia and travels at regular traveling speed....
The background scenery was zipping by. Not at a crawl.
On two occasions I’ve been at an intersection waiting for a green light, and when I got it, looked at the oncoming traffic and could tell by their speed that they didn’t see that they had a red light. So I waited, and sure enough, they blew right through the red. Both times the driver had a cell phone to their ear. If I had pulled out with my green I would have been t-boned at full speed.
Did you scroll down to the video? It was a moving vehicle. http://www.upi.com/Odd_News/2016/08/11/Pennsylvania-woman-steers-car-with-her-feet-while-texting/6971470931010/?spt=sec&or=on
