When I lived in Ct., we’d go there a couple times a year with friends, but I haven’t been to Atlantic City in maybe 25 years. Back then, the Boardwalk and maybe the block back to Pacific Ave was passable, but further away from the Boardwalk, it was pretty dodgy and you didn’t walk around there in groups of less than about 10 and that was during the day!
Frankly, I’m surprised that any of the casinos are still in business down there, especially given some of the plush Indian casinos that have sprung up closer to the big cities.
a few years back my naive son was mugged in AC..by 4 of Obama’s sons. His life was threatened, they took his wallet and cell phone and punched him in the face. He started screaming at the top of his lungs, scared them off and he took off in the other direction running faster than he had ever done in his life.
