The article is complete nonsense.
Most Americans unless they live in the tropical parts of the country and work outside are low on vitamin d3.
Low levels of vitamin d3 causes metabolic syndrome , which so many Americans suffer from.
Most of our food is even stripped of vitamins and minerals .
Almost all Americans should be taking some type of supplement especially d3
“Melatonin works.”
Didn’t do anything for me. But Turmeric/Curcumin is great stuff!
No he is not “passing money away”. I am. Never have taken vitamins, buy beer with the money saved.
This was never a scientific concept ... it was a marketing concept.
People have widely differing dietary needs. What works for me is an occasional extra dose of vitamin C. I think it's probably true that many people benefit from a iittle extra vitamin D. And after seeing the benefit to my dogs from consuming a glucosmine supplement, I think I might try some of that stuff too!
I have green Vitamin C pills called limes.
Aren’t they trying to make vitamins and supplements unattainable for citizens in Europe?
They don’t want us to be well.
Someday they’ll try and regulate them here too.
This article is conditioning us for future regulation.
No RX-no vitamins.
That's true.
Interesting that they just talk about vitamins. What about minerals? Magnesium, manganese, calcium, potassium, et al
I agree. Beer, eggs and sardines is a valid diet choice.
The real scandal is believing that the fda is doing anything other than feathering its own nest.
Works for me. Have only missed 2 days of work or school because of illness in the last 55 years.
B12 sublinguals prior to going to the local watering hole seem to help me hold the focus of my beer goggles longer.
Saves me time and money, well worth the investment.
Dang. Sounds like me. Alas, I shall retire in the next year or two and probably work more from there on out ... ;o)
Then there are people like me who think vitamin-megadosing can cause cancer...
In many drug studies the placebo effect is greater than the non-placebo effect under study, at a fraction of the cost. Faith and positive thinking invokes a higher power with real world effects that are easily measured scientifically, but impossible for the FDA to shake down for money. Only a libtard would ban a conduit that clearly works for some people, but not for others.
5000 units B12 subs daily and my daughter doesn’t have to go to the doctor twice a week for B12 shots for her sciatica.
D3 or sunshine is also the only effective medicine against depression. If a relative of yours has depression, get him out in the sunshine every day in the summer and induce him to take a lot of D3 in the winter. I have watched a relative and a friend even out their manic depressive cycles and stop taking Xanax and antipsychotics. They are normal folks now.
**** “Eat more Bacon...” ****
Eat More Eggs! I even have my Dr eating more of them (only took me 11 years)
(I buy (2) 18 packs everytime I shop, it is the first item I run out of between shopping trips, I miss my Chickens and Ducks)
Then there is REAL LARD (not that Hydrogenated crud) but I can only get that when I go to the Butcher 3 times a year.
I use Butter and CoConut Oil when I can’t get my Real Lard and of course I never waste Bacon Grease or Chicken/Duck Fat (really, really, really good with potatoes)
That’s why I take my vitamins in 12 ounce bottle form...
Glucosamine works for me.
I started taking vitamin D and I stopped getting colds.
