Nonsense. Lenin and Stalin had 100% control of the media for 50 years and the people still took down the system.

Nonsense. Lenin died in 1924, Stalin in 1953. The “people took down the system” in 1991 - after six years of glasnost (”openness”) and perestroika (”restructuring”) which significantly reduced old Soviet controls and allowed criticism of the U.S.S.R. to dramatically increase. The people did not “take down the system” under Stalin or Lenin.
