With good steak now costing more than $20 a pound, a grill out can bust the budget.
So we decided to try out some new dollar store steaks that cost just $1 each, to see if they are the real thing or a case of "don't waste your money."

Also the prices of chopped meat/ground beef-— or hamburger meat. Years ago it was quite cheap and these days way too overpriced. Same with hamburger patties— utterly ridiculous in prices these days.

True that!

Sounds like it’s priced about right and — you can pay up to $40 for chewy little steaks like it in some restaurants anyway so may as well pick it up at the dollar store ?
Thank God our Congress has forbidden Country Of Origin Labeling, so we needn’t worry our silly little heads by knowing we’re eating polluted Chinese cow!
