At least TR was an American, who loved America. He was also a model of self-invention, having been a sickly child who willed himself to a vigorous adulthood. Lots to like about Teddy - despite the progressivism and monarchial tendencies.

How does one say that? He was the progressives progressive. If issuing 1200 EOs does not make one think he was doing end-arounds congress, well then, you must think the same of Obama?

Just because he was rugged outdoors man, warrior, cattle rancher, big game hunter and general tough guy, do not let that lead you to the conclusion he was a man who loved America in the way we think that should be expressed.

A progressive is a progressive- that means the US Constitution is not the law of the land as written, but as interpreted/twisted.

Best;

“Lots to like about Teddy”

Yes, he was liked by many. Had he not croaked in office, he likely could have gotten yet another term.

Same for obama, he’s liked by enough to have gotten a second term.

Lotsa women like Hllary, many dems, the illegals. She stands a chance.

Personally, I really do not think likeability should have anything to do with presidential qualifications.
