Happy Birthday America! Hope you enjoy. God Bless America
Love this one, with Ronald Reagan at the end!
This version was one of George Putnam’s favorites. Miss that great man.
Great song!!! Great singer!!!!
I hope to sing this as special music in my church next year. I would have done it this year, but someone else sang “America”.
I'd forgotten there is an intro ... a prayer.
We used to not be ashamed of God nor afraid to speak His name and worship his Son.
I'm afraid we're all gonn'a have to admit, we're just a bunch'a usta'be's .... but we don't haver to STAY here .... WE'RE AMERICANS !
Thank you posting this. And for the other videos you post.
I always liked some of her very first recordings, the rather jazz-tinged “One Sweet Letter From You” and “I’m Gonna Meet My Sweetie Now,” from 1927, where she provided the vocal accompaniment for the Charleston Chasers jazz group.
Thank you so much for this treat ,,, my 71 yr. old chest began to swell with pride right away . I remember Kate when I was very young and America’s greatest generation saved us from two foreign invaders ,,, the folks back then were happy and very proud to be Americans .
God Bless America ,,,, and send the crony career politicians to hell for what they’ve done so far .
I always grab a Kleenex before watching that. Thank you!
Stay As Sweet As You Are (1934)
She helped the flyers win the Stanley cup. Goggle it.
