Are we talking the old American-made Daisy BB gun or
the current Chinese-made Daisy BB gun?

Pretty hard to shoot a kid’s eye out, unless your aim is dead center and right at the pupil itself. Leaves a red welt for a few days if you only hit the cheekbone or ridge of the nose.
Spring-powered, though, so the range was not all that great.
