The video was graphic and difficult to watch, showing a burly man push his way into the suburban home and begin to punch and kick the woman for several minutes, at one point throwing her down a flight of stairs, all while the toddler watched from the couch. Custis then fled the location with some jewelry, including the victim's wedding ring.

And thos who were sentenced to "life without the possibility of parole" have been paroled, so your point?

My wife and I had an extensive and detailed discussion after a recent "event" at my home. She started out upset that I could have killed several kids (age 17-19). An hour later, she agreed with my position - use the most effective weapon for the situation but follow the law.
And they wonder why criminals rule the streets in Chicago.
