The video was graphic and difficult to watch, showing a burly man push his way into the suburban home and begin to punch and kick the woman for several minutes, at one point throwing her down a flight of stairs, all while the toddler watched from the couch. Custis then fled the location with some jewelry, including the victim's wedding ring.

Too bad someone wasn’t around to shot the guy. He should get life sentence and never be a threat to anyone ever again. Animals like this should not be allowed to roam free.
His slime bag lawyer still maintains the guy is innocent. I don’t care if it is a lawyer’s job to represent the client but it takes some sort of deep disturbing sickness to claim that with a video.

All of them tragic.
This is surely true. However, most burglars would shoot the homeowner or club homeowner over the head. This animal beat this woman mercilessly for a seemingly endless amount of time, flopping her around as if she were a rag doll. The video was horrifying and would have been broadcast 24/7 had the perp not been black and the victim not been white.
I suspect, sadly, that he is getting life because the beating was taped and people got to see it. A lot of people are brutally beaten by career criminals like this scum and they don’t get life.

He was out on the streets because our clueless Democrat neighbors and friends vote for the party that puts bleeding heart liberal judges on the bench. I have seen this over and over again, a criminal gets caught for a brutal crime and it is revealed that he has a long list of arrests and convictions. The answer—the judges let them off with a slap on the wrist time and time again.
