Well.... the terrorists have pretty much taken over the reigns of the US Government. Quite an achievement.

Sure makes one wonder how the Peter Principle worked in Kerry’s case.

“What planet does this administration live on?’

Planet “Progressive” Leftist Marxism

The basis for Leftism is always a denial of reality.

No, Pruneface, they know that their co-religionist is going to be out of power in the US in about 200 days, and they haven't come near to wrapping things up yet.
Thanks rickmichaels.

“Has there ever been a case in history where terrorism achieved its stated political objectives?”

In recent years:

Terrorists succeeded in taking over Algeria from the French.

Pol Poi took over Cambodia

Rhodesia ended up in Terrorist hands (Mugabe).

South Africa was taken over by the Terrorists.

Nicaragua was taken over by Terrorists.

Quick list off top of my head.

None of the liberal idiots will do a thing, until they blow up some members of their class, then it’ll be all out nuclear war. The little people are expendable.

No...no, it seems to be worse than that, far more sinister I am afraid.

John Skerry is spinning the only line he can.

Go Trump! Time for Skerry, et alia to go.

But when “they blow up members of their own class”, they will blame Trump or Bush or Halliburton or the Koch Bros. And of course, Islamophobia.

In other words, the blame will be assigned to who/whatever Conservative or hated entity is on their list.

They never change their tune, just the lyrics...

because they are 'desperate' and 'know they are losing'

He was really talking about the House of FDR/Carter/Clinton/Bush/Obama.

Isis, isil and now daesh. It's almost like they are trying to confuse people. I hope the American people have confidence in their leaders. I sure as hell don't.

Most of the conflicts you mention are para-military, semi-organized insurrections. Not the same thing at all.

Just so. But neither is it unknown for *paramilitary/semiorganized insurrections* to utilize terrorism as one tactic in the toolbox, if not always as the primary one.

You can argue as to whether or not civil wars fit the definition too. Id say sometimes. [Russia, 1918; Finland 1918, Cuba 1958]

The Federal Bureau of Investigation defines terrorism as “the unlawful use of force or violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives.” Sept 13, 2011

"utilize terrorism as one tactic in the toolbox"

Sure. But what we're seeing today is simply organized murder as their sole tactic. I cannot imagine even they believe it will work. More likely, it will cause a backlash (which probably would be happening already but for 0bama). Their murder campaign has been going on long enough (20+ years) to begin seeing some progress for them. But there is no progress.

It's having an effect just south our border with Mexico; whether or not narcoterrorismus will work for them or not is yet to be seen- and a high and well-attended wall between us and them might make a difference. But it seems to have become a way of doing business there for them, and they do not look to be inclined to stop anytime soon.
