Assistant federal public defender Rich Federico urged a panel from the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Thursday to ensure that Ammon Bundy and four co-defendants rights to due process and effective representation aren't jeopardized by their dual prosecutions in Oregon and Nevada.
Federico began by citing a 1922 U.S. Supreme Court ruling which underscored that one person accused of crimes in two courts cannot be in two places at the same time. Though that case dealt with a person facing prosecution in federal and state courts, Federico told the panel that he couldn't find a similar case in which a defendant faced prosecution in two federal jurisdictions proceeding on parallel tracks.
Federico's client, Ryan Payne, as well as Ammon Bundy, Ryan Bundy, Brian Cavalier and Blaine Cooper are amon 19 people face federal indictment in Nevada stemming from the 2014 armed standoff with federal officers outside the Bundy Ranch.........

This here KANGAROOO COURT is not a “trial”.
AND everybody knows it. “Justice” is DEAD—and has been for the last decade or so.
If the Bundys converted to Islam, the Feds would be forced to let them go...
