I have no reason to think they aren’t. I haven’t seen Ferrari power by Merc *or* the new Red Bull lately on a straight drag-race basis, though.
Yes, the Merc has been fast and Red Bull too. But that is just the top 4 spots.

Sorry to say my suspicions were right. Haas is still doing very well for a first year team, and I have no doubt they’ll come home with points tomorrow!
Vettel in a Ferrari was third and only about 0.1 seconds behind Hamilton. Ferrari brought bigger turbochargers in their engine package.

Hi Chode! I was there, across from the Hamilton paddock at the start. It was fun. I’m sorry I didn’t have a long lens, nor did I get any appropriate pictures. It’s a big Ferrari town of course because of Villeneuve, and I noticed the engines were a little louder than last year.
yeah the Tifosi are predominate up there, i could hear them go nuts when Seb made the move at the start over the announcers
and yes this year they sound a little less like lawnmowers 8^)
where did you stay?
we usually stayed at the Hotel Taj Mahal on rue St-Hubert near underground Montreal, get a sixpack of tube tickets and good to go
also it was near the Greyhound terminal so we’d get a couple hundred in funny money when we got there then cash it out before leaving cause they use spot rates but put everything we could on the card
also there was usually a free outdoor sat-nite concert somewhere close by
even saw Chuck Berry there once
